Amber Kathleen Gilman, age 37, passed away peacefully and went to her Heavenly home on January 15, 2026.
Amber was born on July 25, 1988, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to John Gilman and Connie Broome. She worked at Great Lakes Cheese for ten years, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Above all else, Amber was a devoted mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She loved experiencing new adventures with her children and creating memories that will be forever held close to their hearts.
Amber's favorite color was purple, and she found great peace and happiness fishing at the family cabin in Eagle River. Time spent on the water fishing brought her comfort and joy. Amber was a beautiful soul whose smile could brighten any room and whose kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Amber is survived by her parents, John Gilman and Connie Broome; her sisters, Amanda and Alexandria; her half-sister, Erin; her stepbrother, Cory; her children, McKayla, Ayden, Sophia, Hunter, Gunner, Kain, and Levi; and her significant other, Xeng.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Tracey Pfantz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield, Wisconsin, on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.
