James D. Davidowski, 79 of Hatley, died on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
James was born on January 12, 1947, in Milwaukee, the son of Leo and Wanda (Windorski) Davidowski.
On May 8, 1971, James was united in marriage to JoAnn Blarek at St. Florian’s Catholic Church, Hatley.
James worked at SNE, formerly Crestline, for many years in production. He loved refinishing furniture and woodworking. James could build just about everything and especially enjoyed making toys for his grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife, JoAnn; two children, Janice (Lynn Jr.) Roe of Alma Center and Leon (Kelly) Davidowski of Hatley; five grandchildren, Calvin (Courtney) Roe, Aron Roe, Alek Roe, Taleigh (Lincoln) Davidowski and Hayden Davidowski; siblings, Joanie (Richard) Kegal and Harold (Roxanne) Davidowski and sister-in-law, Maryanne Davidowski.
James was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert Davidowski, Leon Davidowski, Judy (John) Bydynkowski and Sharon (Gene) Pogorzelski.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Fr. Jerome Patric will preside. Burial will be in St. Florian’s Catholic Cemetery, Hatley. Visitation will be on Friday, from 9AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
