Janet L. Mohr, age 75, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026. She was born on February 9, 1950, the daughter of the late Earl and Esther (Stroik) Steinke.
Janet was a loving and caring woman who was always ready to do whatever it took to help her family. She found joy in working outside and tending to her garden, a place where she felt most at peace. Above all, Janet especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness and pride.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Desi), Carmen, and Amanda (Mike); her five grandchildren, Kayla, Aryanna, Brittney, Kassy, and DomiNick; her three great-grandchildren, Hadley, Jaylee, and Ember; and her brother, Ken Steinke. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her infant brother, John Michael, and her brother, Gordon.
Janet's kindness, devotion to family, and gentle spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
