In Memoriam

Jason D. Beall

1983 – 2026

Jason D. Beall

Jason D. Beall, 43, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2026, after suffering a sudden medical event while working in the yard at his second home in Ontonagon, Michigan.

Jason was born on January 5, 1983, in Germany while his father was serving in the United States Civil Service. From an early age, he developed the adventurous spirit, determination, and compassion that would define his life.

At just 17 years old, Jason met the love of his life, Danielle Teetzen. He married the girl who captured his heart at their first jobs, and together they spent the last 26 years building a life filled with unwavering love, countless adventures, laughter, and what seemed like a new hobby every week. Together they created a home centered on family, friendship, and making the most out of every day.

Jason proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology while building his career as a Tool Specialist with Viking Electric. To Jason, Viking Electric was far more than a workplace—it was a second family, and he cherished the friendships and camaraderie he found there.

Jason had an enormous heart and never hesitated to help someone in need. Whether it was stopping to assist a stranded motorist, standing up for someone who needed an advocate, or lending a hand to a friend or stranger, Jason believed in doing the right thing without expecting anything in return. His generosity extended even further when he twice grew out his signature thick, curly red hair to donate to Wigs for Kids—first donating 19 inches, then later another 16 inches—to help children in need.

Known affectionately as "Red," Jason was blessed with an incredible circle of friends who loved him for his loyalty, authenticity, positivity, and larger-than-life personality. He wasn't one to take any guff, and he always stood up for what he believed was right.

Jason was a true hobby connoisseur. If something caught his interest, he dove into it wholeheartedly. Over the years he explored rock climbing, 3D printing, leatherworking, photography, woodworking, and countless other pursuits. He loved collecting rocks, playing disc golf, gathering around a table for games of Magic: The Gathering, hiking, practicing jiu-jitsu, riding adventure motorcycles on winding trails, and spending time near the water. His taste in music was as diverse as his interests, and he found joy in discovering something new wherever life took him.

Above all else, Jason's greatest pride and greatest joy was his family. He adored his nieces and nephews, was incredibly proud of his son, Jacob, and treasured the beautiful life he and Danielle built together. Danielle and Jacob will forever remember

his huge heart, his unwavering love, his willingness to help anyone, and how hard he worked to make life better for those around him.

Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Danielle Beall; his son, Jacob; bonus children, Trinity and Bowden; his grandmother, Martha; his stepfather, David Triggs; his father-in-law, Alan Teetzen; his aunt and uncle, Corky and Debbie; his brothers and sister, Patrick (Keturah), Samantha, and Mandy (Kegan); along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Beall and Caroline Triggs; his sister, Jenny; and his mother-in-law, Patricia Teetzen.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home, 948 Grand Avenue, Schofield. Military Honors will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Online condolences and words of remembrance may be shared at www.honorone.com.

Though his time with us was far too short, Jason leaves behind a legacy of service, kindness, courage, generosity, and adventure. He lived fully, loved deeply, and never missed an opportunity to help someone else. His memory will live on in every trail explored, every act of kindness extended to a stranger, every new hobby embraced with enthusiasm, and in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Arrangements by John J. Buettgen Funeral Home.
