HUNTERSVILLE, NC – Judy Silvia, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20th, at Novant Health Huntersville. She was 82.
Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, to Anton and Florence Murr, Judy carried the warmth and strength of her Midwest roots throughout her life. She established a successful career as a dedicated realtor in Northern Virginia, where she was known for her exceptional professional integrity, commitment to her clients, and ability to help countless families find their homes.
A faithful Catholic, Judy found strength and comfort in her faith throughout her life. Her greatest joy, however, was her family.
Judy is survived by her two loving sons, Leo (Megan) of Huntersville, NC, and Scott (April) of Fort Mill, SC; her two devoted sisters Joan Langlois of Appleton, WI, and Marilyn (Don) Benz of Kronenwetter, WI; her six beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Florence Murr and one sister – Jan Murr Chevella.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Details regarding memorial contributions will be shared by the family.
