In Memoriam

Kathleen A. Harris

1957 – 2026

Kathleen A. Harris

She was born on September 20, 1957, to the late Marvin and Mary (Ewing) Jelinek.

Kathleen had a deep love for life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed going fishing, playing cards with her brother and sister-in-law, and spending quiet time cross-stitching. She was a devoted fan of Westerns—especially those starring John Wayne—and rarely missed an episode of her favorite medical dramas. Nursing was more than a career for Kathleen; it was her calling, and she was passionate about caring for others.

Known for her kind and generous heart, Kathleen would do anything for anyone. She never asked questions when someone needed help—she simply showed up. Her compassion, selflessness, and unwavering support touched countless lives.

Above all else, Kathleen loved her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and held them close to her heart.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Jessica (AJ) Napiwocki; her grandchildren, Carter, Reed, and Kelsey; her "pseudo-grandchild," Robyn; and her siblings, Michael (Bonnie), David (Marcella), Victor (Marilyn), Jeff (Jane), Gretchen, and Tom (Rose) Jelinek. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Jenny.

A celebration of life will be held this Summer in Richland Center, where family and friends will gather to honor Kathleen's life, her compassion, and the love she shared so freely.
