Nancy C. Ross, 87, formerly of Wittenberg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at The Pines in Clintonville, WI.
Nancy was born on September 6, 1938, in Winneconne, the daughter of Rexford and June (Freeman) Flanigan. She was united in marriage to Norman Ross in Seattle, WA.
Nancy worked as a beautician for over 40 years, she owned and operated her own salon in Oshkosh, WI and Seattle, WA. She had a creative spirit and found joy in crafting, painting, sewing, gardening, searching for treasures at flea markets and playing her luck at casinos. Nancy also had a deep love for dogs, who held a special place in her heart.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Linda Schlichting; brother, James (Christina) Flanigan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman and siblings; Claude 'Dick' Flanigan, Jacqueline 'Jackie' MacKinnis, Glen Flanigan and Gail Flanigan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
