Rachel Lee Buhr, born May 16, 1983, passed away on December 6, 2025.
Rachel was a creative soul who found joy in the little things—collectibles like Legos, rocks, and small dolls that reflected her curiosity and love of detail. She was incredibly crafty and took pride in making things with her hands, especially when those creations could be given to someone she cared about.
Helping others was at the heart of who Rachel was. Whether she was fixing something, teaching someone how to do it themselves, or simply showing up when she was needed, she did so with patience and kindness. She had a heart of gold, even if she was a little rough around the edges. Rachel often put on a brave front, always placing others before herself and making everyone believe everything was okay—even when the world was crumbling around her.
Rachel is survived by her children, Dakota (Emma), Ivan, and Atticus; her grandson, Ezra; her mother, Mary Buhr; her sisters, Pam, Linda, Laurie, Lou, and Amy; her brothers, Randy and Richard; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Buhr.
Rachel will be remembered for her generosity, resilience, creativity, and the quiet strength she carried for those she loved.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on January 9, 2026, at St Agnes Catholic Parish 6101 Zinser Street, Weston. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the church.
