Randy Reissman

1958 – 2026

Randy Reissman

Randy Reissman, 68, of Wittenberg, died on Friday, June 12, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was a kind man with the biggest heart.

Randy was born on April 30, 1958, the son of Ervin Reissman and Delores Bernitt.

On June 6, 1986, Randy was united in marriage to Mary Grulkowski in Wausau. The couple just celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Randy worked as a carpenter for Low Brothers Construction and Dun-Rite Exteriors. Randy made many lasting friendships throughout his years in construction and often said that working for these companies felt like being part of a family. He took great pride in his work and valued the relationships he built with his coworkers over the years.

While he enjoyed his work, his true passion was farming. Randy loved spending time outdoors, whether he was ice fishing or hunting. Some of his most treasured memories were made on hunting trips to Colorado with his brothers and friends and his trip to Alaska with Mary and friends. He also enjoyed watching the Packers and playing Sheepshead and took great pride in teaching the game to his grandchildren. Randy cherished the time he spent with his family. Attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events brought him immense joy. He loved his kids and all of the kids he raised. He was incredibly proud of his son when he became a United States Marine and later decided to work in the agriculture field. Randy took great pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow and achieve their goals.

Randy is survived by his wife, Mary; his father, Ervin; two children, Samantha Grulkowski and Matt (Stephanie Laug) Reissman; seven grandchildren, Alexis (Josh Newbury) Lorbecke, Jersey Bradham, Haiden Reissman, Bryce Reissman, Qiarie Burns, Riven Reissman and Dax Reissman; three great-grandchildren, Braxton Lorbecke, Xavier Monrreal and Nova Newbury; mother-in-law, Veronica Grulkowski; siblings, Pam Thiex, Nancy Reinke, Lori (Dave) Hedtke, Larry (Diane) Reissman, Julie (Chuck) Natzke, Shirley (Chuck) Wendler, Richie (Liz) Reissman and Paul (Holly) Reissman; brother-in-law, Joe Grulkowski, sister-in-law, Jesse Sadenwasser and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
