Austin Davis Olson, age 21, of Little Black, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
Austin was born on June 3, 2004, in Merrill Wisconsin to Todd Olson and Jennifer Hanson. He graduated from Medford Senior High School in 2022. Following graduation, Austin continued working at Gold Diggers Scrap & Salvage until November 2022 before pursuing a career in farming at Pine Creek Dairy, where he found joy in hard work and life on the farm.
Austin was a true gearhead who loved anything involving wrenching, working on vehicles, tractors, and four-wheeling. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially around a campfire surrounded by family and friends. Above all, Austin cherished being a father and loved spending time with his son, Bennett.
Austin will be deeply missed by his father, Todd (Stacy) Olson of Medford; his mother, Jennifer Hanson of Eau Claire; his siblings, James (Erica) Madden of Merrill, Robert Brannen of Wausau, Erin Kraemer of Medford, Cody Hamm of Medford, Sara (Elijah) Blume of Medford, Alex Olson (McKenzie Spalo) of Stevens Point, Collin Turonie of Stevens Point, Jordan Olson of Medford, and Jayce Olson of Medford; and his beloved son, Bennett Olson of Eau Claire. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Carter, Vayda, Oaklyn, Luke, Walter, and Tucker.
Austin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Kraemer, Don and Linda Sparby.
Austin's kind heart, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Free Spirit of Medford. A benefit ride will take place at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, leaving from Free Spirit of Medford. N7382 Hwy 13, Medford, WI.
