Betty Lou Fleischman, 78, of Pittsville passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on June 19, 2026. She was born on August 24,1947 to Clem and Rose (VanKirk) Trader, and lived a life marked by love, devotion to family, faithful service to those around her and a strong work ethic.
She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her children, Brenda (Paul) Veldman, Scott (Darla) Fleischman, Dennis (Deb) Fleischman, Denise (Mike) Bodendorfer, Tim (Cathy Maslowski) Fleischman, and Tammy (Steve) Pozega. She is also survived by her sister, Carol (Norb) Konrardy, and her brother, Joe (Tina) Trader and brothers and sisters in law; Rita Rudie Smazal, Walter (Virginia) Fleischman, Annette Fleischman, Mary (Jim) Krause and Doris Meacham.
Betty's greatest joy was her family. She was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable happiness to her life. Her love, wisdom, and caring spirit will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Fleischman; her parents, Clem and Rose Trader; and her siblings, Archie Trader, Robert Trader, Phil Trader, and Diane Trader.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved, Donnie.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 30th at Bluff View Church, 8095 Bethel Road, Arpin, with visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 am and service at 11:00 am.
