Brian R. Dye, 50, Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Evergreen House, Wisconsin Rapids.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service. A livestream of the service will be available on Brian’s obituary page at rembsfh.com. Deacon Nate Mueller will officiate. Burial will take place at Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.
Brian was born on May 31, 1976 in Marshfield to Richard and Sandra (Masanz) Dye.
He worked at ODC in Wisconsin Rapids for a number of years, as well as Crockett Septic. Brian enjoyed his time in Special Olympics and his fishing had no boundaries. Brian loved to collect hats and was very friendly with everybody - especially if there was some type of ball cap. He would wrangle that hat from the owner.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Sandra Dye, and special furry friend, Vito.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Shannon and Michelle Lee Dye, grandparents, Margaret and Leonard Hoffman, aunts, Sharon Dye and Roxanne Masanz, uncles, Donald Masanz and Gary Meyer, and nephew, Robert Dye.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses who were with Brian during his fight with cancer, including Evergreen Adult Family Home, and all his extended family who Brian admired and loved.
