Dale W Ziebell

1950 – 2026

Dale W Ziebell

Dale Ziebell, 76, passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2026, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, with his loving wife and family by his side.

Born on May 22, 1950, to the late Walter and Doretta (Steinberger) Ziebell, Dale lived a life centered on family, laughter, and making memories with those he loved most.

Dale shared a special bond with his wife, JoAnn. Together they enjoyed fishing and camping, creating countless cherished memories along the way. They also loved traveling to carnivals throughout the state, never letting distance stand in the way of an adventure—even if it meant driving 150 miles one way.

Known for his mischievous spirit, Dale loved playing jokes on his wife, children, and grandchildren. His playful sense of humor brought smiles to everyone around him, and he continued sharing that joy right up until his final days. Above all, Dale was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an amazing grandfather who treasured every moment spent with his family.

JoAnn will especially remember Dale for his peaceful nature, loving heart, and gentle spirit. His kindness, patience, and unwavering love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn; his children, Christopher (Sarah) Ziebell, Jason (Kelley) Goertz, and Jennifer (Todd) Schifelbine; and his grandchildren, Tabatha Ziebell, Emery Ziebell, Elizabeth Leverty, Adam Goertz, Candace Goertz, Tyler Goertz, Olivia Goertz, Natasha James, and Raven Love. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his son, Brian, and six siblings.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at a later date.

Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family. Family and friends may leave words of remembrance at MWCS.WS.

Dale’s legacy of love, laughter, and gentle kindness will be forever remembered by all who were blessed to know him.

Arrangements by Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society.
