David Darrell Yenter, 69, of Mosinee, passed away at home unexpectedly on April 3, 2026.
Dave was born on January 23, 1957, to David E. Yenter and Jeanette (Groshek) Wegner in Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by his sister, Julie (Mike) Stroik; his niece, Wendy (fiancé Andrew Johnson) Stroik; his great-nephew, Calum; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
David lived life on his own terms and was truly one of a kind. He had a deep love for rock 'n' roll and a natural musical talent, playing both the trumpet and piano. He will be remembered for his unique spirit and the wide circle of friends he built from all walks of life.
A celebration of David's life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 12:00 pm for family at Gorski's, 450 Orbiting Drive, Mosinee. Father Marion Talaga will officiate. Another Celebration of Life will be held at Hodges Place 2, on May 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) or to Prevent Suicide, Marathon County.
