In Memoriam

Debra Lynn Narloch

1955 – 2026

Debra Lynn Narloch

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Lynn Narloch, our beloved mother and grandmother, who left us on the afternoon of June 16, 2026. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a fierce and courageous battle with kidney failure and subsequent health complications.

Born March 21, 1955, in Wausau, WI. Deb was the daughter of Raymond Kolbeck and Elaine Carpenter. She attended Wausau West High School and beautician school in Green Bay, WI and later moved to West Allis, Wi with the love of her life, Donald. The couple was united in marriage on July 19, 1975, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Rothschild, WI. After starting their family in West Allis, they returned to Rothschild where they raised their two children.

From a young age Deb started working. Her parents’ business Coral Lanes Bowling Ally, Coal Lanes Root beer stand, The Palms Supper Club, and a hairdresser. She cut family and friends’ hair throughout her life.

After several years, Deb and Don embarked on the adventure of owning and operating their own business, Quality Carpets of Wausau and QCF Supply, for approximately 22 years before retiring. Over the 22 years Deb enjoyed being a member of the Wausau Westside Business Association and assisting in returning the annual Christmas Parade to Wausau and joyed that it continues.

Following retirement Deb and Don relocated to their little piece of heaven in Tomahawk, WI. Deb enjoyed her beautiful gardens, generational flowers, canning, and campfires. Family time was important to Deb. She would make sure that all the right (in excess) snacks were packed for her cherished time with her grandchildren, family, and friends on Lake Nokomis, cruising, fishing (the competitions), and “beaching it”. Deb found her best times in life with the love of her life Don in Tomahawk, traveling, berry picking, and spending time together hand in hand. She kept busy with friends at Taco Tuesday, strong bodies, and enjoying card parties with her good friends during annual “hunting widows weekend” and Birthday celebrations.

Deb is survived by her son Bradey (Milissa) Narloch Ringle, Bethany Narloch Wausau, Hunter Narloch Weston, and Addison Narloch Weston, Sister Linda Kent Weston, Brother Mike (Mary) Kolbeck, Sisters Deb Mortensen, Kitty Kramer, and Pam Carpenter.

Deb is preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents, Raymond Kolbeck and Elaine Carpenter (Klemp), older sister Dianne Lynn, and Brother Steve Kolbeck.
