Wyleen was above all a God-loving woman. She was a loving sister to Marion, LaVon, Lois, Joanne, and Jean, all preceding her in death.
She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.
Wyleen spent many years volunteering for multiple organizations including being a Girl Scout leader and a church worker. She served as an officer in the women's groups of both parishes she belonged to. For as long as she was physically able, she worked at all church events. She was a church organist for many years.
She was an avid birder; she organized a birding club which had more than 70 active members when she retired. During the 10 years she lived in the Northwoods she held a monthly women's breakfast in her home.
She was a Registered Nurse. She left nursing only when she became a single mother of 3 young children and wanted a job that would have her at home when her children were home. She became a teacher's aide at Brookfield Central High School where she met Clark. They became best friends and had a marriage that lasted more than 30 years ending only at her death.
Wyleen was a seamstress and made most of her children's clothes through elementary school. She was a quilter and received many ribbons. She was a crafter and had her own machines in her husband's shop. She did wood carving.
She served as the 1969 State Chairperson for the American Heart Association campaign.
Overall, Wyleen was just a wonderful human being, and she will be missed tremendously.
