In Memoriam

Earl C. Spreeman Jr.

1968 – 2026

Earl C. Spreeman Jr.

Earl C. Spreeman Jr., 57, of Merrill passed away on April 1, 2026 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. Earl was born to Earl Sr. and Sally (Cotter) Spreeman on November 21, 1968 in Appleton, WI. He was a man whose greatest joy in life was his children, whom he loved deeply and unconditionally. His pride in them was evident in every story he shared and every moment he spent by their side.

He cherished time with his family above all else. Whether gathered around the dinner table, sharing laughter during holidays, or simply enjoying each other's company, those moments meant everything to him.

An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and happiness in nature. He loved hunting and fishing, often rising early to greet the quiet of the morning woods or the calm of the water. These were not just hobbies to him, but passions that brought him closer to the world around him and to those he shared them with.

He also had a love for motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. Riding was one of the ways he felt most alive, embracing both adventure and reflection with every mile.

He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his unwavering love for his family, and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his two children, Megan Spreeman, Merrill, and Robert (Amanda Altenburg) Spreeman, Merrill, two sisters, Shirley Spreeman, La Crosse, and Sherry Lebo, Green Bay, one uncle, William Spreeman Sr. (Suring) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Spreeman Sr., Sally (Cotter) Spreeman and his brother, Steven Spreeman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements by Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society.
