Edmund "Ed" Moriarity, 82, passed away on February 23, 2026, in Wausau, Wisconsin. He was born on August 10, 1943, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Ed spent much of his life in the Eau Claire, Milwaukee, and Sun Prairie areas. He worked for AE Rogers and later Clark Lift, where he served as a manager. He was known for his strong work ethic, direct manner, and steady leadership, and he took pride in the work he did.
Ed is survived by his brother, Mike (Char) Moriarity; his daughter, Chris (Steve) Moriarity Zupek; his daughter, Cory (Amy Pemperin) Moriarity; his stepson, Greg (Eva) Allen; his stepdaughter, Amy (Jim) Anderson; and his stepdaughter-in-law, Heather Allen. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Laura (Steve) Sorenson, Alexander (Beth) Zupek, Mykel Moriarity, Claire Allen, Liam Allen, Abby (Cory) Kramshuster, Andrew (Sarah) Fabris, Anna (Adam) Fischer, and Mathew Anderson, as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Moriarity; his son, Eddie Moriarity; his stepson, Buddy Allen; his mother, Colleen Arnsdorf Moriarity; his father, Edmund Moriarity; and both sets of grandparents.
Ed had a long-standing interest in cars and spent many hours working on and talking about them. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors. He and Maureen traveled over the years and spent time scuba diving, experiences he appreciated.
Ed cared about his family and took pride in their accomplishments. He lived life on his own terms and leaves behind a large family who will remember him in their own ways.
