Eleanor “Nora” V Miranda, 83, of Marshfield, WI, was called to her heavenly home on June 12, 2026.
Nora was born on March 17, 1943, in the Philippines to Eusebio and Cleotilde (Dimalibot) Villanueva. She was the 7th of 13 siblings. She was united in marriage with Warren L. Miranda on January 21, 1967, at The Church of Saint Philomena in Livingston, New Jersey.
Nora is lovingly survived by her husband Warren and their three children, Warren “Sonny” (Jill) of Marshfield, WI, Earl (Rebecca) of Fargo, ND and Karla (Josh) Leggett of Oshkosh, WI. Nora also has ten grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
Known as Nor, she will be missed dearly by her sisters and brothers: Mely Lee of Calapan, Philippines, Eloisa (Emiliano) Galvez of Toronto, CA, Clemencia (Alex) Tenorio of Houston, TX, Rose (Antonio)Villacorta of Houston, TX, Grace (Jose) Rubia of Socorro, Philippines, Vee (Patrick) Snyder of Houston, TX, Nestor (Lani) Villanueva , San Jose Occidental Mindoro, Philippines, and Jimmy (Alma) Villanueva of Houston, TX. She is also a dear aunt to many.
Nor will also be missed by her lifelong Marshfield Filipino family, Fernando and Rachel Bersalona, Constante and Amelia Avecilla, Nemensia (and Victor) Ejercito and Senan and Menchu Siasoco.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Noemi and Nieves, brothers Romulo, Eduardo and father-in-law Raymundo, mother-in-law Ambrosia and many loved brother and sister-in-laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield, WI on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11:00 am, with visitation starting at 9:00 am. Fr Robertson will officiate. A livestream of the service will be available on Nora’s obituary page at the time of service. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield, WI at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady Of Peace and Columbus High School.
Our family would like to thank the caring, compassionate staffs at the Marshfield Medical Center and Rembs Funeral Home for the care they provided our beloved mother and wife.
