Jack H Bartelme Sr, age 83 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Aspirus Hospital. He was born on October, 29 1942, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin to Earl and Fern Bartelme. He graduated Rhinelander High School, served 4 years active duty in United States Navy and was forward deployed for the Viet Nam War. After honorably discharged, he worked the rest of his working career at The Paper Mill in Rhinelander for nearly 40 years. Jack loved to hunt, fish, camp, watch the Packers, and do gardening for activities. He is survived by his wife Karen, 3 sons Tim, Jack Jr, and Tom, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister (Janet Sorgatz).
