In Memoriam

Jeanette "Jean" Priebe

1941 – 2026

Jeanette "Jean" Priebe

Jeanette Florence “Jean” Priebe met Jesus face to face on June 8, 2026, at the age of 85. Jean was born on May 9, 1941, in Parrish, Wisconsin, to the late Lonzie and Lucy Sparks.

Jean married William “Bill” Priebe, on September 17, 1960. He has been waiting for her in heaven since 2017. Jean was also preceded in death by her brother, Arland Sparks.

Jean is survived by her children: Mark (Diane) Priebe, Julie (Gary) Fisher, Katy (Mark) Sweigart, and Christy (Joseph) Fehlen. She also leaves behind her beloved sister and best friend, Nancy Melau. Jean was a proud grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren: Matt (Jessica) Zeratsky, Tara (Tom) Lund, Bill (Tracy) Priebe, Tori (Skye) Fisher-Keough, Olivia (Dylan) Fisher, Zachary (Stephanie) Sweigart, Adria (Michael) Quiroz, Annie (Emilio) Rodriguez, Hope (Paul) Ramseyer, Amelia (Jonathan) Fehlen-Wagenknecht, Elliot (Faith) Fehlen, Samuel (Kenzi) Fehlen, and Ruby Fehlen. She also leaves behind twelve great grandchildren and another on the way.

Jean held a number of jobs over the years, but her favorite role was that of a friend. She loved to swoop in and help wherever she could. She was a warrior for the underdog. She was an active member of Grace Foursquare Church and participated in and led countless Bible studies over the years. Jean loved cooking, reading, and her family. She loved nothing more than having everyone home.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the residents and staff of Grace Lodge for making Jean's last months truly enjoyable.

A celebration of Jean’s life and meal will take place at the Family Life Center at the Grace Foursquare Church, on Monday, July 6th, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM. All are welcome.
