Jeanne M. Downer, age 73, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1952, the daughter of the late Donald and Joyce (Holland) Sullivan.
Jeanne married the love of her life, Glen, on Christmas Eve in 1986 in her parents' yard – a day filled with love and meaning that perfectly reflected her heart. Jeanne found joy in life's simple pleasures: boating on the pontoon, fishing, and going for rides in the car, even if only for half an hour. No matter the length of the trip, she always made sure to thank Glen for taking her.
She loved shopping, was unfailingly, and had a genuine love for everyone she met. Above all, Jeanne cherished her family and the time she spent with them.
Jeanne is survived by her devoted husband, Glen; her beloved cat, Murphy; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Dennis.
Jeanne will be remembered for her kindness, gratitude, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
A celebration of life with Jeanne's friends and family will be held at Waube Lodge in Lakewood. Date and time are to be determined.
