In Memoriam

Raymond W. Woller

1942 – 2026

Raymond W. Woller

Raymond Wesley Woller, 83, of Merrill, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, following a short but courageous battle with cancer, in the comfort of his home and under the compassionate care of Aspirius Hospice.

He was born on July 17, 1942, in Merrill, Wisconsin.

He married the love of his life, On January 18, 1964 and dedicated over 30 years of his working life to SEMCO, before retiring in 2008.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Janet; his son Steven (Katrina) Woller; his son Allen"Tripp" (Kim) Woller and Son In Law Nick Lecher, seven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest pride, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He is also lovingly remembered by his extended family and was preceded in death by his daughters, Beverly Woller and Lynn Woller Lecher; his parents Raymond Ardith (Oleson) Woller Sr, brother and sister in law Kenneth Rita (Hoffman) Woller.

He loved deer hunting, fishing, and golf, finding peace in the outdoors and companionship in shared time with family and friends. He spent many hours working on cars for demolition derbies alongside his sons, proud to watch them earn trophies and carry forward the excitement of the track.

Some of his favorite moments were spent with his grandchildren, where stories, laughter, and time together meant everything. He also enjoyed playful fishing rivalry, especially with his daughter-in-law Trina. He would proudly try to outfish her, sometimes even "helping" the competition by throwing a good catch back just to make it interesting. Despite his best efforts, the fish often had other plans, and he was known to end up with hooks tangled in trees more often than not, much to everyone's amusement.

Raymond will be remembered for his resilience, his humor, his warmth, and the steady way he showed love through presence and action. His life was a reflection of devotion to family, hard work, and the joy found in everyday moments.

He passed in the place he felt most at peace, his home, surrounded by love, dignity, and comfort.

Raymond will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Arrangements by Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society.
