Robert E. Clevenger Jr., 65, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away the evening of Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI following a heart attack on the job.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date.
Robert was born on September 14, 1960, in Streator, Illinois, to Robert Sr. and Ruth (Persong) Clevenger. After completing his education, he proudly served as a cook in the United States Marine Corps from 1978 to 1982. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as both a welder and a truck driver. Robert had a lifelong passion for loud music and fast cars. He was also a devoted Harley-Davidson enthusiast and was nearing completion of the restoration of his 1965 Panhead at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his fiancé Kathly Beasley, his son Levi (Jacklyn) Clevenger, grandchildren Henry & Callen Clevenger, and his nephew Jason "Jake" Rager.
