Thomas Dean Wetterneck, 77, of Schofield, WI, passed away on May 20, 2026.
Born in Wausau, WI, Tom was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and married the love of his life, Jan Wiesman, in January 1970. He worked at Marathon Electric as a sales engineer for over 30 years.
He was a big Wisconsin sports fan and also watched professional golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Lois (nee Olson) Wetterneck, and his sister, Susan Aschbrenner.
He is survived by his wife, Jan, his daughter Tosha and son-in-law David Brenneis and their children Faith (21) and Liana (13), and his son Chad and daughter-in-law DeeDee and their children Sion (15), Rowan (14) and Asher (11).
The family is holding private services. Donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tom's favorite charity, are appreciated.
